Our History
CITP was founded in April of 1987 as McConnell Services and operated under that name until 1994. At that time a strategic alliance between companies facilitated a name change to McConnell Associates. Then in January of 2001, McConnell Associates incorporated as Carolina IT Professionals, Inc. (CITP) a wholly owned corporation by Phyllis Friday McConnell. As with McConnell Services and McConnell Associates, CITP exists to serve the information technology desires of its clients by providing the highest quality professionals at a cost-effective price.
